Peque\u00f1os \u00e1ngeles mulatos y motivos buc\u00f3licos abundan en los trabajos de Antonio Francisco Lisboa, Aleijadinho; esas marcas definieron un aut\u00e9ntico estilo barroco brasile\u00f1o.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>El interior de las capillas en Congonhas est\u00e1 compuesto por un grupo de esculturas, en madera, representando escenas de la Pasi\u00f3n de Cristo. Los 12 Profetas, en el atrio de la iglesia, esculpidos en esteatita (piedra jab\u00f3n) y las figuras de las Estaciones del V\u00eda Crucis, fueron realizadas entre 1796 y 1805.
